Surface Protection At Teesport

As part of a planned refurbishment programme, Harbour Masters Dock, Teesport required an covercoating system that would be capable of receiving pedestrian traffic whilst also providing a level of surface protection that could withstand regular buffering from the sea. In addition, the system also needed to rejuvenate the worn substrate.

Nucoat UVS liquid applied waterproofing system was specified and applied to the substrate. Once cured, Nucoat UVS provided an anti-slip surface finish necessary for pedestrian access whilst also achieving a tough, durable layer that would provide a considerable level of protection against the elements.

The project was completed without delay or inconvenience to the Port Authority, and achieved an excellent aesthetic finish promoting complimentary comments from the client.
